History and comfort

When you step inside the Cottage, you will immediately notice the high ceilings and original timber-lined walls. These features convey a sense of times long past, when the Hunter was the agricultural heartland and emerging wine capital of NSW.

The Cottage features two bedrooms, with both rooms sleeping two people each, and a double fold-out sofa available in the lounge. The main bedroom of the Cottage features a queen size bed and French doors opening to a screened verandah. The well-equipped second bedroom has a pair of king single beds. A double sofa bed is available in the lounge room area, with linen and bedding supplied for all guests.

Reverse cycle air-conditioning is supplied to the living area and one bedroom, and the master bedroom has an individual room heater and wall-mounted fan.

Modern facilities

The Cottage features a private and practical layout, which makes it ideal for families or friendship groups. The property has been fully renovated with modern bathroom and kitchen facilities throughout. The toilet, shower, and vanity facilities are separate within the bathroom area, and the laundry is fully equipped and easy to use.

Kitchen appliances include a fridge/freezer, range oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, and dishwasher. The kitchen comes with glasses, crockery, cutlery, and cooking utensils.

The gas BBQ is on the covered back verandah, and all BBQ equipment is supplied. All verandahs have outdoor lighting, so you can enjoy the outside air before you retire for the night.

If you want to enjoy a lazy afternoon or a night at home, food and supplies are available from Cessnock just 6 km away.

“Property was beautiful, owners were there to greet us and show us around. House was well equipped and very dog friendly.

Lovely and quiet and close proximity to everything. Can’t wait to come up and stay again.”
